One of my favorite characters that Kristen Wiig plays is Suzie Orman because she does it FLAWLESSLY. I'm really shocked that she's not in more movies! Also today we filmed was the new boyfriend talk show with Jane, Andy, and Jason which was done beautifully as well. But the main news for today is one that the tabloids told me. I nearly pissed myself.
Dreams Come True If You Blog Them
Christina Essenelle's wildly popular blog on Blogger.com has gained the attention of thousands of viewers, and Leonardo DiCaprio. Being a new cast member to Saturday Night Live (SNL) get's you almost no leniency on who's the next host will be, however Christina had blogged recently saying, " ...If Leo DiCaprio were to come here I would push her out of the way because that boy is DELICIOUS! Seriously, Leo if you're reading this, come to SNL..." and with the click of her magic ENTER button, Leo contacted Lorne Michaels (producer of the show) almost immediately after. Viewers for the past few years have tried to get Leonardo DiCaprio on the show, but he's refused ever since. We caught Leo on the way out and he replied to these interesting points with, "SNL is a great show and I'd love to be apart of it". When we asked why now and why right after the blog post he gave in and confessed to us the truth, "Yes I am one of Christina Essenelle's readers as are most people in New York City at this time, and I'm not necessarily saying that I decided to be on the show because of the post, but it was a nice little push in the correct direction." It does seem odd, however, that a small blog post could cause such a highly respected man to be a host on a show that people of much higher status have begged him to do in the past! The one thing we all are sure of is why he reads her blog. From inside scoops on what's happening on SNL for the week to secret scandels within the cast itself! Like why Jenny Slate really left, and what kind of a person Jason Sudeikis really is. It's these kind of blogs that really get our goats. But I'm sure you're asking yourself, why is everyone so nice to her if she writes these undescribable truths about them? Well the answer to that is that she's blacked out her website to everyone in 30 Rockefeller Plaza and the entire street! The girl's got smarts, looks, and talent backing her up 150%, and boy Christina do we love you ever so much and we have to hand it to you, Leo's a tough man to reach! and we're all anticipating his episode in the future.
