Day 5 {Jeff Bridges}

It's going to have to be a weird schedule for the today and tomorrow since it's technically a holiday and we shouldn't even be working, but it's SNL so I don't know if you can even call it "work". Today I filmed It's a Wonderful Life and Jason and Vanessa filmed The Miley Cyrus Show. I have nothing against Vanessa but I personally don't like the Miley Cyrus Skit except for the clips from her "TV experiences". This morning I woke up at 10AM and helped make the desserts for tonight's Christmas Eve Party, or as I always used to call it Christina Eve. It was Kristen, Jason, Abby, Fred, and Nasim and we made a pound cake, brownie cheesecake muffins, magic bars, and something else but I can't remember. Oh, Jeff isn't spending Christmas Eve or Christmas Day with us but we're seeing him tomorrow night for the show of course.

At 12:30PM Julian and I went out to lunch at Hammilton's and then we decided to go RACECARING at Lizard Racing Course in Queens. If you know Lizard's you know it's an indoor race track so Julian and I suited up in full on pantsuit and helmet and we went around 4 times and had an absolutely amazing time. The funniest part was whenever one of us would get in front of the other we would turn to the side and block the other and the people letting us go on the track would get mad. It was all in good spirit though. I'm not sure if it's a SNL tradition of they're just really nice but everyone was given a time slot after midnight to put their gifts under the tree for everyone. The only presents under the tree now are those from Lorne (mainly envelopes and small boxes for the n00bs and me). Speaking of the n00bs, after Paul and Nasim broke up...Paul been really sad. He has hooked up with any of the sluts at the after parties and he's been seldom to stay in his room. Well once I got home I went to his room to see just what the hell was going on.

CHRISTINA

(knocking) Paul it's me Christina, are you there?

PAUL

(opening the door his hair is messy and face disheveled) What.
CHRISTINA
You look like hell.
PAUL
Yeah and you look like a princess, what do you want?
CHRISTINA
What's been happening to you? We never see you anymore and we miss you...
PAUL
Ha, yeah right.
CHRISTINA
No seriously what's been going on?
PAUL
I just broke up with my girlfriend am I suppose to be happy-go-lucky?
CHRISTINA
Paul, that was like a month ago. 
PAUL
Yeah well we went out for longer.
CHRISTINA
Yeah, bout a month and a half and all you guys did was hook up-
PAUL
Look if you're here to make fun of-
CHRISTINA
NO! You're right, I'm sorry I'm here to understand why you don't hang out with us anymore.
PAUL
I'm fine by myself.
CHRISTINA
But we want to hang out with you.
PAUL
Well we don't all get what we want now do we?
CHRISTINA
(sighing) Paul I'm not trying to be intrusive but-
PAUL
Well you are.
CHRISTINA
Okay, but I don't want to see you alone all the time.
PAUL
How could you see me if I'm alone.
CHRISTINA
That's not the point Paul, why are you so evasive?
PAUL
You're really doing this aren't you.
CHRISTINA
Yes I am.
PAUL
(sighing) Come in.

He told me everything. How Nasim was the last of a bunch of bad relationships that left him with nasty thoughts and how he thinks that he can't love someone like they do in movies. He's also been very upset because his childhood dog just died in his hometown and he loved that dog like no other. After the whole schpeal he was crying but he's going to be okay. We left his room together and into the main room for drinks. I think Paul and my relationship just blossomed into something more and I'm really glad I talked to him. YAY PSYCHOLOGY!

The SNL mailbox has been flooding with packages, I caught sight of a few of them and they were mainly marked "To Andy Samberg" or "To Bill Hader" so they're going to get quite the surprise on Christmas Day...For tonight's Christmas Eve party we were given names from out of a hat of everyone that was going to the party and we were to get them gifts no more than $20. Although when you pulled a name out of this giant hat if you had already gotten them something for Christmas you had to pick again, so at first I got Alec Baldwin, then Nikolai Fraiture, and then finally I got John Karsinski whom I've never met before. This should be fun, by the way I just want to give a shout out to Aahs! Gift store because I must've bought over $250 worth of stuff and everything was great and perfect, I highly recommend this store. Hows that for marketing.

Question Time! with Julian and Christina

Hey kids! We get letters every day asking random question about me and us and today we're answering 10, so get excited! (my answers are in red Julian's are in blue first 5 questions are about 7 other 3 are about me)


1. What's the one thing you and Julian love to do for fun?
Hang out with the band. Make music.
2. Out of all of each other's friends, whom do you like the most and least and why?
I love Nick Valensi because we have an obnoxious amount of things in common and he's really funny and random. I don't really like Nikolai all that much because he's really anti-social and he's in a band but doesn't want to do any work...I really like Fred Armisen he's a cool guy and is hilarious and I love hanging out with him, Nasim on the other hand is a pain in the ass and is impossible to get along with.
3. Other than the Strokes do you guys listen to music alone together? 
Oh yeah, we've got music blasting in our rooms at all times. I'm more of a classical music kind of background music guy. Definitely, I always have either Deathcab for Cutie on or Hans Zimmer.
4. What's the weirdest things you guys did together?
Rocky Horror. Nuf Said. She painted my finger nails different colors according to political parties. I had 5 red fingers, 1 blue ones, and 4 green ones. Oh yeah I almost forgot about that...good times good times...
5. What's one secret that only you know about the other?
So, Julian only has his hotel rooms on the fourth floor. He special requests a hotel room on the fourth floor, and if there are only three he'll freak out and say we have to go somewhere else. Yeah, that's my boyfriend. Very nice, Christina has a little problem called OCD and if every picture frame isn't completely straight she'll throw a hissy fit and cry for three hours. That is verbatim what I do. I know that's why I said it. ...yeah, we're being completely sarcastic by the way. Yeah, ha ha.
6. What's your biggest pet peeve about the other?
SHE'S TOO POPULAR. She knows way too many people. Oh let's see, Julian is crazy with jealousy. Ha ha. Okay.
7. If you guys had a kid what would you name it?
This is such a weird question...ha ha, um well let's see which letters I hit first...H! N! I'd name it Harry for a boy and Nicole for a girl. Ha ha, Yeah I'm gonna do the same thing, M! E! Matthew and Emily. You only said Matthew because of Matthew Goode. Tru dat. What am I going to do with you... Love.
8. If you went to college where would you go?
Probably a big city like Chicago or San Francisco. I'm not sure though. Good question.
9. Who was your favorite host and why?
Oh God...I'm going to say Alec Baldwin because it was my first, I was nervous, and Alec really helped me out and we still hang out to this day unlike the other hosts (minus Jimmy, Amy, Tina, and Paul)
10. Do Date Marry: Jimmy Fallon, Chris Parnell, Matt Damon
Ha ha ha ha I know this game....geez and Julian is right next to me too. Hey. Look away. Sure. Ha, um, Do Matt Damon so Sarah Silverman and I have something in common, Date Chris Parnell because he really knows how to have a good time and he's really sweet, and that leaves Jimmy, and I love Jimmy he's one of my closest friends. But I love them all equally. 

Day 4 {Jeff Bridges}

Today we filmed Update and Under-Underground Records. This skit has already been done and I just love it, especially ASS DAN (Bobby). This morning I woke up in Tyson's hotel room, had breakfast, and with Tyson went back home to NBC. After filming with Jason and Bobby I went to my room with Tyson to go watch the Black Swan which was AMAZING. Then we went into the main room and watched TV, played video games and then FINALLY Julian came back from his Radio Interview. I gave him a big smooch hello and we all watched TV together. Unfortunately Christmas Eve Julian has a tradition where he always has his Christmas Eve with the Strokes and I don't want to butt in on it so I'm having Christmas Eve with my family of SNLers.

Day 3 {Jeff Bridges}

No filming for me today unfortunately, I've been low on the filming this week. But I have a scene tomorrow. Today they filmed Kardashian Holiday and General Store. I always love the Kardashian scenes because Nasim does an amazing job as Kim. I LOVE HER. At around 12PM I went to Tyson's hotel room (Nick was in his room as well) and we went shopping for an hour together then Nick left to go bowling with a bunch of people then there was a sound check thing at the Irving Plaza so I reconnected with my Strokes at that point, then after that I wanted to hang out with Tyson more so I went back to his hotel room. Let me try and explain just how much fun I had with Tyson.

So as I was finishing shopping I was really watching was he was buying but he did buy a bunch of stuff and he said that it was for "fun later" so I was a little scared at that statement because it sounded like something sexual. So at around 4:30PM Nick came by and picked us up and Tyson, in the car, handed me a brown paper bag with a lot of stuff in it and he said don't open it until I text you to. So he dropped my off at one end of Central Park and Tyson was dropped off at the other and when I got the text I opened my bag to find: a old cowboy belt equip with two silly string shooters in the gun holder, a cowboy hat, a red poncho, goggles, two glitter guns, and a note saying "Get ready for the fight of your life". I walked around extremely cautiously and then after 5 minutes of walking to his end he shoots my in the face with the glitter gun and I get him right back with my glitter gun. It ended up with us on the ground completely out of glitter and silly string and we got up looking like a love child of cousin It and Edward Cullen with all the silly string trailing from us and glitter attached to our bodies. It was a good day. At Tyson's apartment we filmed some little video blogs for his audience. One was of Tyson saying Santa over and over again and me popping into frame like a happy little elf, another was of him being mad at TRL for not putting The All-American Rejects as number one so we made a video saying he'd get naked if the fans did so, and the last one was of us covered in glitter and silly string just talking about random crap. Oh Tyson you wacked out fruit loop.

The Art of Random

I just watched Jeff Bridges shave his beard in all it's entity. I cried. So since I am one of Kristen's bridesmaids I just got my bridesmaids dress today. It's absolutely gorgeous she's having a white and purple themed wedding so my dress (as well as Maya, Amy, and Tina's) is a ankle-length white gown with purple flowers sewn into the dress and it's strapless. I'm not sure which jewlery to wear (never said that before...) but I'm SO excited. There's a rehearsal here in the studio and then we leave for Vegas on the 5th (I'm missing 2 days of school). Oh and in case you're wondering why everything is highlighted in white, it's because I accidently hightlighted something in green and I didn't want it anymore so I thought white was kind of a way to NOT highlight it (like an undo button) but that didn't work...so...white highlation is what you get. Oy...the art of random is my art...


OH GOD, So there's this game called Avatar U and it's where you make a bunch of college students and watch how their lives play out. I made Nasim, Abby, Kristen, Vanessa, and myself, and then for the boy I made Nick Valensi, Seth, Jimmy, and Julian. Here's how everyone ended up:

Day 2 {Jeff Bridges}

So I feel like the worst friend in the world. I haven't been watching recent episodes of Conan recently because I've just been so busy and I didn't even write on here that Will Forte has been a reoccurring character on said show! He's hilarious, he's also on 30 Rock I might've mentioned that but he plays a transvestite who wants Jenna Marooni's love. Gotta love Will. Anyways, I bought Will this really funny Christmas sweater for, you guessed it, Christmas, and he WORE it on Conan on Thursday's episode! I'm very very happy he did that because that means that he liked it...maybe. I hope he did. I think he did. It's a pretty ridiculous sweater I mean, for Will. Here's what they said about it on Conan

Gotta love Will! Today we filmed Larry King Live and Mark Zuckerberg, both skits I were not in so I decided to hang around the 30 Rock set with Tina, Jack, and Alec. I always have fun down there (wow I can't believe I just said that) and Jimmy sometimes joins us, which he did today. (Wow biggest sexual innuendo EVER) You know what I just realized? I have fans fro all around the world! Some from Sweden and some from CHINA. I've never even BEEN to China! That's so cool...anyways I'm going to go play video games, Adieu!

Battle of the Bands

Christmas is approaching and you know what that means. BATTLE OF THE BANDS AT IRVING PLAZA. It takes place on Sunday January 2nd and the bands in it are: The Strokes (obviously why else would I be talking about it) The All-American Rejects (more on them later on...), Passion Pit, Anberlin, Nine Inch Nails, Ludo, Oasis, and Owl City. It'll start off as The Strokes VS Passion Pit, The All-American Rejects VS Anberlin Ludo VS Oasis and Nine Inch Nails VS Owl City. Who will win?? No one knows!!! BUT Tuesday at around 1PM there was a meeting for Battle of the Bands just as a kind of precursor as to what will happen. Since I'm pretty much part of The Strokes at this point I decided to tag along and there I got to meet all the bands.

Adam Young (Owl City) is REALLY nice, and he's on SNL next week as our musical guest for Matthew Goode so I'm going to be seeing more of him, Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails) didn't really talk to ME all that much but he was talking to a bunch of other people. He seems pretty cool. Michael Angelakos is freakin' hilarious (Passion Pit) definitely want to see more of him, Stephen Christian (Anberlin) is really nice, very shy though. I didn't really get to talk to anyone from Ludo or Oasis...ah well. Then there's Tyson Ritter (All-American Rejects) although I know I've just been listing the lead singers on here but I love all of the All-American Rejects. Nick's a hoot and Chris is cool(ish). Anyways, after the meeting (Oh and The Strokes lead singer is definitely the coolest guy on the planet...blah blah blah you know ALL about him) The Strokes and The All-American Rejects decided to get together (at Nick Valensi's apartment) and watch some movies and kick-back and relax and just hang out with one another. And boy did we have a lot of fun, we watched House Bunny which Tyson was actually IN and a song from the AAR was in the movie as well. After the movie Chris (Gaylor), Albert, and Fab had to leave so it was just Nick V., Nick W., Nikolai, Jules, Tyson, and me. We made tea, rocked out to video games, and crank phone called some famous people. Then Julian and I left because I thought I had a fever and wanted to go make sure I was okay (through the SNL nurse of course!). By the way I am okay. 97.5 actually...a little chilled...All in all it was a good day. Tyson is awesome.
