I stayed home from school today because there was no point in going if I'm sick and have to film to I got a nice day off and it's Martin Luther King Day on Monday so no school again for the Gwyneth Paltrow week.I saw her in Iron Man so I'm excited to meet Miss Pepper Pots...I've slept all day with a fever and Julian's been writing and making music with the rest of the Strokes and he got me lunch which was sweet. Today we're filming A Taste of New York and Amusement Park Ride, I'm in the 3PM one so that'll be fun. I watched Taran do his bit for the skit and it's hilarious. Very amazing actor Taran is, I'm surprised he isn't in more skits to be honest.
I'm most likely going to have to go to the doctor soon because my laryngitis is getting really bad...will I do the show? Who knows at this point, Jason has a fever and Keenan has chlamydia (joking) what else could go wrong...

Day 4 {Jim Carrey}
Julian and I had an amazing day yesterday for several exclusive reasons. Yes, exclusive reasons. If you go see Julian's twitter you'll see some awesome pictures describing our love. Today I had a full day of filming! We filmed Black Swan and Soul Train, Black Swan was super easy because I had no lines but Jim Carrey was hilarious. The part was originally going to be given to Kristen but she's still on her honeymoon with Fred, they were back for 3PM today though but were exhausted and didn't film. Lucky ducks got to go to Greece...hmpf. I was skype-ing Tyson today! He's good, he's just having a lot of fun at the moment on tour. He says he misses me and I miss him too! He was a lot of fun to hang out with. Jimmy was in Rolling Stone! A HUGE spread was on him in Rolling Stone and it mentions Julian and myself and he's also on the COVER of Rolling Stone as well, now that's who I call a lucky fucking duck. I still have no voice and probably won't tomorrow so let's see how the show turns out on Saturday...yikes. The interview I posted on here yesterday got so much attention from other interviewers that my inbox is bursting (as well as Jules') with interview opportunities. And it sucks that we can't do them all, but we really can't. I'm doing a radio interview on Sunday with K-Rock so that'll be fun.

Debbie, Jules, and Christina Interview
Today Julian got interviewed by Debbie Harry (!!) and I was there for my little side notes as well, hope you like it!
Debbie Harry: When I read your press kit, I came away thinking, I wonder what it feels like to be looked at as “the next big thing”?
Julian Casablancas: It’s exciting. It’s like what you always hoped for but never really thought you could come close to. I remember when we started out, if we had a paragraph written about us, we’d throw a party and show all our friends!
Debbie: (laughs) Get tattoos, everything!
Julian: Yeah, and now it’s almost overwhelming. I don’t listen to it anymore; it’s a little surreal.
Debbie: Well, I guess once you’ve said what you have to say you really don’t have to read it again. I always found it sort of disturbing to read stuff while I was doing shows — all of a sudden the things I’d read would flash in front of my face in the middle of a song and I’d forget where I was, and go (Harry gasps). Like shock therapy.
Julian: I really like your live stuff, I gotta say.
Debbie: Thank you. I think your music is really good, too, but I haven’t heard the EP, the first thing that you put out.
Julian: Oh, the demo. We did it for real cheap, just three songs. It was just a demo to get bigger shows in, like, Philly or something.

Julian: Two dogs, and I've officially adopted Christina's fish.

Debbie: At this stage of the game, are you really happy when someone recognizes you?
Julian: It doesn’t really happen so much, but if I do it's usually because I'm with Christina.
Debbie: Way to go Christina. (laughs) If you continue with this and your career builds, do you think you’ll feel comfortable being famous and losing a certain degree of anonymity?
Julian: I don’t know. The only thing I’m slightly worried about is if we get to a level where we’re constantly busy and we don’t have enough time to focus on just the music.
Debbie: How will you schedule your time? Do you have any kind of vision for that?
Julian: No. Pretty much the only goal I’ve had since the beginning, which I still have, is just to get better, work hard, focus, and everything else will just be a bonus. As long as I’m satisfied, and I think we’re getting better with every song compared to the last, then I’m satisfied and that’s all I want. If we don’t achieve that, then I’ll be disappointed. But if I think that we’re still doing stuff that’s good, and we’re not popular anymore, or people don’t write about us, I’d be just as happy. Did you get recognized on your way over here?

Day 2 {Jim Carrey}
My boyfriend is an asshole at times. So I have completely lost my voice at this point and so Julian thought it'd be SO funny if he invited all his friends to come over and make fun of me. Yes my day was stressful. School was dull and bland and the dance audition went horrifically and I don't think I'm going to get in which really sucks because I'm positive Bill and everyone else will get in. I mean even Abby got called back to do a more difficult dance routine. Bitch. Plus because of my girliness it was more uncomfortable to dance today (if you know what I mean girls...) and on top of that I have text book flu and laryngitis. LORD HELP ME PLEASE. I'm not even sure if I can film tomorrow if my voice is still like this...I hope they still let me be in this week's episode...I'm going to the National Museum of History tomorrow for the first time (MONEY) So that should be fun...toodles!

Day 1 {Jim Carrey}
Today was the audition for the Broadway musical, All Shook Up, I auditioned and I feel like I have a good chance at getting in because I sang my song pretty well but the dance audition is tomorrow and I'm very nervous. I'd say I'm a pretty strong singer so...wish me luck! So because of this audition (which a lot of SNL members auditioned for) there was no 3PM filming just a 10AM one. So they filmed Finding Your Power and I'm very depressed that I did not get to film with Jim Carrey first. Ah well. DAMN YOU JASON, VANESSA, AND ANDY!
I have completely lost my voice because of this audition though, so I asked if I could just not film anything tomorrow and Lorne said that that was fine, I've got a dance audition anyways. Fingers crossed! The flight back to New York wasn't as long as the first one because I was asleep for 90% of it on Julian's lap, although I did start off on his shoulder...yeah. I loved Vegas! It was a hell of a lot of fun, I had a lot of fun with Jimmy and Paul on that trip because they both went and at night I would mainly hang out with them. They're just funny guys and as I've said before I normally gravitate towards guys because I just feel more comfortable around them, I guess thats a plus...whatever. You know what I hate? SCHOOL WORK. I'm going to go do some now! Who am I kidding it's 10:30PM and Julian's asleep on my shoulder, I'm going to bed. Night kids.

Day 4 and 5 {Vegas!}
There's just too much to explain! Yesterday was Saturday and Julian and I had a little "couples" day. We woke up at 10AM to a massage and facial, compliments of the Bellagio, then we stayed in our rooms in our robes and ordered food. Then things got crazy, we went into the desert-y area of Nevada and went dune-buggy-ing which was a lot of fun, a lot a LOT of fun. Then we ran back to the Bellagio to have dinner, drinks, and cards with everyone else. That was Saturday and then on Sunday we got all packed up, all glamed up and went to go see Cirque Du Soleil and then went got on the plane to go home. We all had an amazing time in Vegas and now...we've got a whole week with Jim Carrey. Get excited people.

Day 3 {Vegas!}
Today was packed with hours upon hours upon hours of preparation for the wedding, although at 5PM us bridesmaids got a spa hour and got our hair, make-up, and nails done. So basically just like for TV but minus the nails. Unfortunately I didn't get to hang out with the Strokes today because they packed their day with fun filled adventures aren't Nevada so that was cool...for them. The wedding is just 3 hours away and nothing can go wrong now! Oh right, except Kristen.
Kristen has always had issues with being tied down but she down right said yes to Fred (Ha ha, Right said Fred) so I don't understand why she keeps on taking back her word about this wedding. Literally she has taken off her engagement ring SIX TIMES TODAY because she still wants to run through the fun of being young and single, but she's already done that so I think she should just marry her best friend: Fred. I'm not trying to be hyper critical of her on her "day" but come on Kristen you've been dating this guy for five years, where did you think it would lead to? THE WEDDING!
The wedding was spectacular. Everyone congregated in the hall way in front of the chapel and when The Strokes walked in everyone's heads were turned. Nick leading the pack was wearing a black tuxedo (all of them were), hair pulled back, glasses, and a black tie, Albert in a tuxedo, no tie, Fab was in a tuxedo and a white tie, Nikolai in a tuxedo, black button down, and black tie and hair pulled back, and Jules was in a tuxedo as well and a red bowtie with his hair completely slicked back, a.k.a he cleans up GOOD. I leaped into his arms and gave him a big schmooch and prepared to walk down the aisle with him along with Amy, Maya, Tina, and their men. The wedding is all documented online and there are MILLIONS of photos, especially of Julian and myself. After the wedding was the reception that was INSANE! Hundreds of people were there and I danced the entire night, loving every second of all the slow songs. Check out the photos online, they're quite scandelous and at 3AM this morning Fred and Kristen hopped on a plane to Greece for their honeymoon! Lucky ducks...well that's all for now, toodles!
Kristen has always had issues with being tied down but she down right said yes to Fred (Ha ha, Right said Fred) so I don't understand why she keeps on taking back her word about this wedding.
