Utah

There is so much I need to write and add to this but it'll come in bits and pieces, but today January 5th is Bradley's birthday, so at least I wrote Happy Birthday to my boyfriend in here.

xoxo

01/05/14

There is an unreal amount of stuff I need to post, for example: ALL OF MY UTAH TRIP, Celebrity Game Night Part 3: Polygamy Party Edition, New Year's Eve, upcoming SNL guests, the big January she-bang, the Golden Globes are this Sunday in California...lots of stuff! I'll start small: Drake with musical guest Drake will be on SNL January 15th and Jonah Hill with musical guest Bastille will be on SNL January 25th! Seth moves to Late Night on February 25th.

Upcoming SNL guests: check

So, I don't know if I already said this but 3/7 of the "Best Friends for Life Brigade" (Ellie Kemper, Jen, Paul Rudd, Bradley, Ed Helms, Jason Segel, and I) has their birthday in January, and we'll all be in L.A. the weekend of the Golden Globes (as are every other celebrity we know) so we're throwing this HUGE party over there. Bradley turned 39 last night on January 5th, Ed turns 40 on January 25th, and Jason turns 34 on January 18th. I'm really excited it's gonna be a fancy affair.

The big January she-bang: check

New Year's Eve was spent at a giant resort in Utah called "The Montage" and all the Kardashian clan and Kanye were there, and Kanye really really doesn't like me cause I'm associated with SNL and Jimmy Kimmel so I really didn't spend too much time with him. But we all (except for Ellie...:( she had to leave early) were there up in this party upstairs where there was free candy and fancy food and we watched the ball drop in New York and again for the Midwest, there is no ball drop for Mountain Time people (a.k.a. US!) so did our own little ball drop downstairs on the dance floor with a cover band and all these balloons fell down on us. After kissing Bradley [ ;) ] we headed back to our little rented house and played "Imagine-If" until like 2am. Haha! Happy New Year! My resolution is to be nicer. We'll see how long that lasts.

New Year's Eve: check

I have been receiving (over the past month) thousands upon thousands of pictures of dresses for the Golden Globes this Sunday (January 12th) with my favorite hosts in the world: Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. I think I've got it narrowed down to 2 and they're both gorgeous and long. I'm really excited to see who wins and what not, I'm not writing an acceptance speech just because I'm pretty sure Jen will win, everyone is in love with her. So that's that. But if I do win I'll be on Jimmy Kimmel Monday and Conan Tuesday and then I head back to New York.

Golden Globes: check

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO KATE MCKINNON TODAAAYYYY. She is fabulous and amazing and I love her, the end.

It's finally official, we have another mother flippin' SNL feautured player, but a good one. Welcome Sasheer Zamata! Now everyone can stop bitching about there not being a black female SNL cast member since Maya Rudolph.
